What we keep, and what we don't.

Synapse needs to remember a few things so your server works the way you set it up. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared, and there is no tracker on this site.

What the bot remembers

A small database file that lives with the bot, holding only what it needs to run your server:

  • Your settings — which channels, roles and filters you turned on.
  • Warnings, with who was warned, by whom, why and when.
  • Credits and cooldowns, so nobody can farm the daily reward twice.
  • Levels, prestige and which level rewards each member already got.
  • Polls, uploaded music, reminders, tickets and away statuses.

Messages are read as they arrive so the bot can spot spam, scam links and invites, but they are not stored or archived. What stays is a short log line: who posted, where, and which shield caught it.

What the dashboard can see

The dashboard reads the same database and nothing else. It shows totals and the top entries for a server you are allowed to manage. It cannot change a single setting — your configuration stays in Discord, where it takes effect immediately.

What signing in stores

Signing in with Discord tells us your display name, your avatar and which servers you can manage. That is all it asks for, and all it gets.

The site keeps one record for your session on its own server, and your browser holds a single cookie with a random id — nothing personal in it. Sessions last seven days, and signing out deletes the record straight away.

What is never collected

  • No analytics, no tracking and no advertising of any kind.
  • No profile built about you beyond the session above.
  • No outside services besides Discord itself, for signing in and for member avatars.
  • The message tester on the home page runs entirely in your browser. Whatever you type there never leaves your device.

Getting rid of it

Signing out removes your dashboard session immediately. Everything the bot remembers belongs to the server it runs for: a server owner can clear entries with the bot's own commands, or remove the database file and restart for a clean slate.

Questions about a specific server belong in the support server.
